The Weeknd's Kiss Land Listening Event NYC

Yesterday Republic Records held a listening party at The Avenue for The Weeknd's upcoming album Kiss Land.  The venue was packed with many industry people ready to hear what The Weeknd has been working so hard on.  I must say he definitely didn't disappoint easily playing through ten tracks that flowed so well together.  Everyone in the room was vibing to each and every record that played.  There is a improvement in production compared to his last album 'The Trilogy', tracks are more bass heavy but still contain that smooth eerie Weeknd vibe.  The Weeknd wasn't as personable with listeners at the event compared to other events I've been to but I had a good time listening to the album and mingling with others.  If you haven't heard his latest track 'Live For' from Kiss Land you can click the link below.  Kiss Land is set to release September 10th.

The Weeknd Ft. Drake- Live For

After a long anticipated re-collaboration The Weeknd and Drake gives fans what they've been waiting for in their latest track Live For. This new track lives up to the standards of their previous collaborations such as Crew Love and The Ride. The Weeknd's sultry vocals and Drake's lyrical flow mesh great with the drum heavy beat creating a smooth track fans can bump to.  Live For is going to be featured on The Weeknd's upcoming album 'Kiss Land' which drops September 10th. Check out the track below.

New Music: Drake's New Artist PartyNextDoor- 'Wus Good/Curious'

Drake's new artists PartyNextDoor dropped their second track today called Wus Good/Curious. I really like the flow of this track, PartyNextDoor reminds me of multiple artists such as The Dream and The Weeknd with a little twist. Im interested in seeing what other songs they have in store for us. In the mean time I'm anticipating Drake's upcoming album entitled "Nothing Was the Same" set to release in August! Check out PartyNextDoor's new track below.
