Jim Jones and the Vampire Life crew hit NYC to have a listening event for his long awaited 'Vampire Life' EP. This listening party was a bit different from others that I have been to because we didn't get to hear the entire EP. Instead the crowd heard five tracks that Jim himself was considering to drop as a single. He started off with one of his favorite tracks on the EP 'You Heard Me Though' which set the tone for the bass heavy tracks afterwards such as 'We Dem Niggas', 'That Nasty Sh*t' and 'No Tellin'. The VampireLife EP allows for listeners to have a variety of aesthetics by using auto-tune, having interesting features like Estelle, Ricky Blaze and Trav and touching on different topics such as relationships. By the end of the night it was clear that everyone (including me) thought the track 'No Tellin' Ft. Trav was a banger and should definitely be the first single from the EP. Many people such as Maino, Dame Dash, Chrissy, Dj Spin King, Dj Drewski and many others came out to support Jim's Vampire Life EP listening event. I enjoyed myself while I was there and I am looking forward to hearing the EP in its entirety. Watch the footage from the event is down below to hear some of the track that were played.
