Yesterday Republic Records held a listening party at The Avenue for The Weeknd's upcoming album Kiss Land. The venue was packed with many industry people ready to hear what The Weeknd has been working so hard on. I must say he definitely didn't disappoint easily playing through ten tracks that flowed so well together. Everyone in the room was vibing to each and every record that played. There is a improvement in production compared to his last album 'The Trilogy', tracks are more bass heavy but still contain that smooth eerie Weeknd vibe. The Weeknd wasn't as personable with listeners at the event compared to other events I've been to but I had a good time listening to the album and mingling with others.
